Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Nuro – Study, Focus & Revise ("Nuro", "the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of Nuro on iOS and Android.

Account Registration

To use Nuro you need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at nuro.support@gmail.com. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Subscriptions and Billing

Nuro offers a free tier and an optional premium subscription (monthly or annual). Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings (iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Subscriptions).

We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. All billing queries relating to payments should be directed to Apple or Google, as we do not process payments directly.

User-Generated Content

Any flashcards, notes, or other content you create in Nuro belongs to you. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive • Attempt to scrape, copy, or extract data from the app by automated means • Abuse or circumvent the AI generation features (e.g. to generate content at a scale that disrupts the service) • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data • Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Nuro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. The app is intended as a study aid and should not be relied upon as your sole source of revision material.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sami Hussain (the developer of Nuro) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for a subscription in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of Nuro will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Nuro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
